Lenin Monument Dismantled In Dnipropetrovsk

A monument to Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin near a regional government building in the Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk was dismantled on June 27. Workers used a crane to take apart the structure bearing the words, "The Victory Of Communism Is Inevitable." Parts of the monument were moved to a local history museum. (RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service)
