Five Killed In Chechnya Blast
Five police officers were killed and at least 12 people injured in a suicide bombing in the Chechen capital, Grozny, on October 5. The bombing took place outside a concert hall where celebrations were about to begin for Grozny's City Day and for the birthday of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov. The attack was the first major incident since militant Islamist leader Doku Umarov was killed last year. (Reuters)
