Serhiy Halyan, 22, was one of the Ukrainian government troops defending Donetsk airport from Russian-backed separatists. These forces have acquired a semi-mythical status in Ukraine, known as ''cyborgs'' for their staunch resistance. But Serhiy speaks openly about the fear and shock he felt in battle.
