Bust Of Vaclav Havel Unveiled In U.S. Congress
U.S. congressional leaders have honored late Czech president, dissident, and writer Vaclav Havel with a sculpture of the leader at the U.S. Capitol. The unveiling ceremony, which coincided with the 25th anniversary of Czechoslovakia's Velvet Revolution, was hosted by Speaker of the House John Boehner and attended by Havel's widow, Dagmar, and Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. The bust of the late Czech president is placed alongside those of leaders including Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr., Sweden's Raoul Wallenberg, and others. (VOA)
