Obama Urges Congress To Authorize Force Against Islamic State

U.S. President Barack Obama has called on the U.S. Congress to pass a new authorization of the use of force against the Islamic State militant group. In his State of the Union address on January 20, Obama also asked Congress not to rush into new sanctions on Iran before negotiations have a chance to succeed. (Reuters)
