Fire Rages At Moscow Landmark

A fire broke out at Moscow's 16th century Novodevichy Convent late on March 15. The fire started on scaffolding surrounding the convent's famous octagonal bell tower, which was damaged in the blaze. Hundreds of firemen eventually put out the flames in the early hours of March 16. No one was injured. (Reuters)
