Rohani Says Iran Ready To Restore Nuclear Program If U.S. Persists

Iranian President Hassan Rohani said that the multilateral deal reached in July 2015 to curb Iran's nuclear program "has never been and will never be the country's only option." Addressing Iran's parliament in Tehran on August 15, Rohani declared that if the United States continues with sanctions against Iran, it might restart the nuclear program at a stage "much more advanced" than it was before the deal.
