Metropolitan Epifaniy was officially installed as the leader of the new Orthodox Church of Ukraine on February 3. President Petro Poroshenko attended the ceremony in a packed St. Sophia's Cathedral in Kyiv. Epifaniy was elected to lead the church at its unifying assembly in December.
