Pope Francis Visits Bulgaria

The head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, arrived in predominantly Orthodox Bulgaria on May 5. The pope was received by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Patriarch Neophyte, the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. After the meeting, Pope Francis read the weekly Regina Coeli prayer outside the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia.
