Tens Of Thousands Protest In Albanian Capital, Demand Resignation Of PM
Tens of thousands of people protested in front of the Albanian government building in Tirana on June 21 to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Opposition supporters accuse officials of corruption and vote-stealing in Albania's 2017 parliamentary elections, and have called for a boycott of upcoming local elections. But Rama has vowed to override a decision by President Ilir Meta to cancel the June 30 vote.
