Pompeo Assures Kyiv Of 'Unwavering' Support, Discusses Possible Zelenskiy Visit

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on a visit to Kyiv, vowed Washington's unwavering support for Ukraine as it battles Russia-backed forces in a deadly war in its easternmost regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. At a news conference in Kyiv on January 31, Pompeo and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy also discussed a possible visit by Zelenskiy to Washington.
