Pakistan Launches Nationwide COVID-19 Vaccination Drive

Pakistan launched a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive on February 3, administering shots to doctors and security staff at Peshawar's main hospitals. The country received 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine from China days earlier. Officials say as many as 400,000 health workers have registered for the vaccination. Senior citizens aged over 65 and patients in Intensive Care Units will be vaccinated in the next phase.
