'Thank God, We Are Alive:' Ukraine Reels From Massive Russian Air Attack

A massive Russian air assault -- described as the largest bombardment of the war -- struck Ukrainian cities overnight on December 28-29. Ballistic missiles and drones hit civilian targets including schools, apartments, a hospital, and a subway station. At least 30 deaths and many injuries were reported as rescue efforts continued in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, and elsewhere.
