Thousands Demand Resignations Of Senior Ministers Over Mass Shooting In Montenegro
Protesters in the Montenegrin capital, Podgorica, demanded the resignation on January 5 of two senior ministers following the killing of 12 people in a mass shooting in the town of Cetinje on New Year's Day. The protesters say the government's response has been inadequate and called on Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic and Aleksa Becic, the country's deputy prime minister and defense minister, to step down.
