Pakistani officials say a U.S. drone strike in the North Waziristan region killed four militants early on May 26.
A senior security official, speaking under condition on anonymity, said the drone fired two missiles at a house near Miranshah and "at least four militants were killed."
A local tribesman, also speaking under condition of anonymity, said other militants had cordoned off the area and were searching through the rubble of the house.
North Waziristan is a stronghold for the Haqqani network -- an insurgent group blamed for a number of attacks in Afghanistan.
This latest drone strike was the third in four days in North Waziristan.
