Berlin Celebrates Fall Of The Wall

Germany celebrated 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall by releasing 7,000 balloons during a performance of Beethoven's Ode To Joy, performed at the Brandenburg Gate by the Berlin Philharmonic. Tens of thousands of people filled the streets to mark the night when the Cold War division of the city came to an end. Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the fall of the Wall showed people around the world - including in Ukraine and Iraq - that dreams could come true. (Reuters)
