Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) says heavy monsoon rains and accompanying floods have killed at least 371 people and 4.5 million others have lost homes or crop fields or livestock this month.
The NDMA said the hardest hit area was the southern Sindh province where flooding had previously caused widespread damage in 2010 and 2011.
The NDMA said the Punjab and Baluchistan regions have also suffered extensive damage.
The floods started in early September when nearly 80 people were killed in the northwest of the country and the Kashmir areas of Pakistan.
