Pakistani intelligence officials say a U.S. drone strike killed three suspected militants and wounded another in a northwestern tribal region of Pakistan along the Afghan border.
The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the drone strike on September 28 targeted a house in the Shin Warsak area of South Waziristan.
Separately, 8 people were killed and 11 injured in a bomb blast at a camp for internally displaced persons on September 28 in the Togh Serai area of Hangu district in North Western Pakistan.
The victims were from the Orakzai tribal agency and had been displaced to the camp by military operations.
