Putin Denies Russian State Involved In Hacking
President Vladimir Putin reiterated previous comments denying Russian state involvement in hacking, in an attempt to influence the outcome of foreign elections. Putin made the comment during a meeting with foreign journalists on June 1 at the annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Russian leader said some "patriotic" hackers might operate independently, but he said "hackers can't crucially influence an election in a foreign country." (AP)
