The Salty Shores Of Russia's Lake Baskunchak

Most of the salt produced in Russia comes from a remote and desolate lake near the country's border with Kazakhstan. Lake Baskunchak accounts for 80 percent of Russia's salt production. Its eerie beauty and healing properties also attracts tourists to its salty shores. (RFE/RL's Current Time TV)
