In Pakistan, a camp for people hunger striking to call attention to missing persons in the troubled Balochistan Province has been destroyed by fire.
Reports said the camp, in the Baluch capital, Quetta, was reduced to ashes after it was set ablaze late on August 14.
It was not clear who started the fire.
Officials of the Voice For Baluch Missing Persons group, which backs ethnic Baluch, said it had been started by unidentified men.
The vice chairman of the group, Mama Abdul Qadir, said they had recently been "receiving threats and warnings from government functionaries to dismantle the camp or face consequences."
Islamist militants, Sunni sectarian extremists, and ethnic Baluch separatists are all active in Balochistan, which borders Afghanistan and Iran.
